I personally like to do it a little differently:
First, I’ll place the tube in a glass casserole dish and let it thaw in the fridge which takes about one day.
Next, I’ll remove the tube packaging and spread the food out in the dish.
Then, I’ll measure out Wally’s individual meals of 6.4 oz by using a large spoon, a scale, and food storage containers.
I put 3 days worth of food into the fridge, and the rest goes into the freezer.
