In our shipment, we got 2 lb of meaty goat bones, 20 lb of complete beef & 20 lb of complete chicken.
How To Feed The Goat Bones And The Completes
The complete beef and chicken can be fed as is and always consists of 80% meat, 10% raw meaty bone, and 10% secreting organs. It’s also available with veggies.
Simply thaw, scoop out the amount of food your dog needs, and serve. Each tube comes with portioning/feeding suggestions.
The meaty goat bones are raw meaty bones and can be eaten in their entirety. That’s because raw bones are soft and pliable, and a dog’s stomach is acidic enough to easily digest raw bone.
Good to know: Don’t feed COOKED bones! That’s a big no no because cooking changes the density of the bone structure. Cooked bones are brittle and can cause internal damage.
It’s also a good idea to supervise your dog’s chewing sessions – I always do. If your dog’s a gulper, hold one end of the raw meaty bone and let him chew on the other. That way, he won’t be able to swallow it whole and has to give it a few satisfying crunches!
